Trail Notes February 17

This past week my focus has been on two things, finishing the painting I’m still working on for the upcoming Waterbrook Art Exhibition and preparing for the second art class that I am teaching each week at the church.

I also have been uploading some new images to my online shop at RedBubble and in doing so discovered that they now have a leggings option for artwork. I’ve been having a great time adding leggings to my shop and will add a gallery of the options so far down below.

I quite like the granny square illustration that I did for the 52 week illustration challenge (which I will be blogging about shortly) so I have added that to the shop too. The granny squares look great on a variety of products such as:

The painting I’ve been working on is almost done although I’m not completely happy with the head/hair and skin tones of the boy so that will be my final focus. Here’s what I’m up to with it:

The art class was well attended this last week with nine coming along and only one missing. Everyone went home satisfied that they’d drawn something they enjoyed. I’m really enjoying teaching again.

Finally, here is a gallery of the available leggings in the shop. I probably won’t be able to help myself and will add more. The cost for them is around the $80AU mark which, for an original and most likely one of a kind pair of leggings purchased online, is a fairly average price. My favourites would have to be the peacock feathers and floral ones!

So, its been a busy week art-wise. I hope you’ll stop by my RedBubble shop just for a look, there are so many different products available there now!
