This week the trail seemed very slow. I did paint but I had a couple of days where extra things un-art related came up. One of those things was planned, a talk I gave at a ladies Bible study which used the formula for paint (pigment, binder and filler) as a picture of a godly life. I was a bit nervous as I don’t usually speak in public but I think it went ok. Its hard to tell sometimes though.
I did spend some time on my landscape painting and its progressing slowly. I’m liking what it looks like so far.
I also drew an art graf (water soluble graphite) image onto my fruit tea stained watercolour paper. I have called this ‘Dreaming/Imagination’ and quite like how it turned out.
Apart from that I mucked around with my macro lenses (iphone) one night to take a few shots of my paint palette which was fun. Here’s a sample.
It was a slower art week as you can see but steps were taken in a forwards direction which is the whole point of walking along a trail!
