This week amongst the painting and art classes I had a couple of little visitors to the studio, my daughter and her friend. They sat and painted on canvas at easels and had a great time together. Next term I will be starting to teach some kids art classes through our church and this was a little reminder of how much I enjoy that.

Painting this dragonfly for the 52 week illustration challenge with the theme of ‘green’. It was a lot of fun to paint, I really do enjoy painting rainforest related work and find the intricacy of insects very rewarding. Art class this week was about colour for the newer students. Lots of fun and challenges.
