Trail Notes March 23

This week amongst the painting and art classes I had a couple of little visitors to the studio, my daughter and her friend. They sat and painted on canvas at easels and had a great time together. Next term I will be starting to teach some kids art classes through our church and this was a little reminder of how much I enjoy that.

It was a lot of fun to paint, I really do enjoy painting rainforest related work and find the intricacy of insects very rewarding. I also started working on a very different painting, a still life of a tiny salt and pepper set that I picked up a short time ago. Here it is:
